This position is responsible for dispensing prescriptions for specialty drugs serviced at our local specialty site. This position is responsible for interacting with health care professionals and delivering high quality, thorough medication counseling. Must also transcribe prescriptions and perform clinical follow up. Must be comfortable communicating with patients and prescribers by telephone and in person.

This individual must have excellent interpersonal skills. Daily tasks will revolve around drug utilization review, clinical documentation, and quality assurance. Other daily tasks will include prescriber clarifications, therapeutic interventions, and prescription entry.

Experience:

Client state license in good standing required. Minimum of one year pharmacy experience in retail, clinical, or hospital setting preferred. Experience with accredited Specialty Pharmacy preferred. Basic computer skills required. Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, and have a positive attitude. Minimum of one year's pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital setting preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD required. Also required with at least one year experience as a pharmacist. Must have an active Client license in good standing.
