Job Title:             Pharmacy Manager\Pharmacist-My Pharmacy Crystal River                                     

Reports To:        CEO                                Supervises:         Pharmacy Staff

Summary

Responsible for the management, oversight and operations of all aspects within the pharmacy.

Possible Schedule: 

Monday - Friday (8a -5p)

Essential Responsibilities

• 
  Ensure staffing optimization positively impacts quality of care and patient experience


• 
  Enforce pharmacy policies and procedures


• 
  Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management


• 
  Accountable for safe medication storage, diversion monitoring and other pharmacy inventory activities


• 
  Resolve patient complaints and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience


• 
  Assist Human Resources with talent management life cycle including recruiting, onboarding, mentoring/developing, engagement, training, retention, performance management and succession planning


• 
  Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations


• 
  Ensure compliance with all applicable TJC standards and elements of performance (EPs)


• Participates in CCRH QIQA (Quality Improvement-Quality Assurance) programs, including  the review of error reports , drug utilization reviews, and adverse drug event reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

•  Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university


• 
  Current and unrestricted Florida Pharmacy License


• 
  Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List


• 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting

  Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel


• Experience opening a new pharmacy (preferred)


• Experience with Rx30 (preferred)
