Pharmacy 340B Inventory Specialist

General Function

This position is a “work-leader” role and serves as the expert on inventory management for the pharmacy department and requires knowledge of the 340B program and applicable pharmacy laws and regulations. This position is required to travel to all pharmacy locations and perform various inventory management functions. This individual will collaborate with the pharmacists and staff to ensure inventory integrity, reduce inventory waste, and promote cost efficiency.  All responsibilities are performed according to best practices in the field and reflect the mission and vision of Baldwin Family Health Care.

Formal Education Requirements

Duties require a basic level of general knowledge and skills at the high school level and a “practical knowledge” level of technical knowledge of the practices and techniques of pharmacy management. This is consistent with the knowledge typically learned during the course of an Associates Degree, other recognized training program, or years of experience with additional broad general knowledge.  This may include certification in a specialty.

Licensing and Certification Required:

• N-95 Fit Test Certification


• Apexus 340B for Health Centers Certification


• Current Certification in CPR
  


• Michigan Pharmacy Technician License


• PTCB Certification or equivalent


• Driver's License
