Pharmacy Cashier

Baldwin Family Health Care has a new employment opportunity as a Pharmacy Cashier!

This position is an entry-level position that has a minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Day to day work for this position includes:

• Greeting patients and providing customer assistance and service


• Verifies, obtains, and maintains accurate patient demographic, allergy, insurance, and other required information. Enters data into computer as required


• Assists the pharmacist in maintaining an adequate drug inventory and quality control procedures


• Prepares pharmacy work areas for daily activities/ operations/ usages to meet patient and pharmacist needs


• Performs various administrative functions as required and directed


• Understands and demonstrates proficiency in 340B rules and regulations


• Understands the importance of and models a positive attitude and respect towards patients, co-workers, and visitors as outlined in Family Health Care’s Customer Service Standards


• Understands and demonstrates the ability to protect patient privacy according to HIPAA laws
