Job Summary
We are seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to join our team! As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be operating the cash register, answering phones, stocking the front end, and assisting the pharmacist and pharmacy tech with operations such as inventory and processing. You will also be delivering prescriptions to patient's homes. This is a great position for someone to gain experience and to advance into a pharmacy technician.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and assist patients pickup up prescriptions
- Maintain front inventory including ordering and stocking
- Operating basic functions in the pharmacy software
- Keep front end clean and tidy
- Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacist as needed
- Deliver prescription medications to patients' homes within a 5 miles radius
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired but not required
Requirements
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Have valid drivers license and current auto insurance
