Pharmacy Clerk - with Great Benefits

HIRING IMMEDIATELY – PHARMACY CLERK

Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare organization is looking for enthusiastic talents with retail or mail-order pharmacy experience to join the pharmacy team.

Location: Onsite in Apopka, FL

Pay: $18.45/hour

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

What you will be doing:

• Entering new prescription order, processing prescription refills, and selecting correct medications wen processing or filling prescriptions
• Assuring that all information at order entry is correct (including demographics, physician info, medication directions, refills, NDC code, allergy information, payment method, etc.)
• Reviewing pharmacy benefit plans, requesting overrides and working with customers to have prescriptions approved
• Answering or making calls to follow up with member regarding any denied refill request, no responses to the fax, or if clarification is needed for physician information

Requirements/Qualifications:

• high School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of retail or mail-order pharmacy setting experience
• Basic math skills, Microsoft office knowledge
• Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
