Pharmacy Courier/Driver

Position Summary
The Pharmacy Courier is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting prescription medications and supplies to patients, healthcare facilities, and partner organizations within the Tri-State area. This role ensures timely, accurate, and secure delivery of all pharmacy items while representing the organization with professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to deliver medications and supplies.
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying addresses, patient information, and medication

- packages prior to departure.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of all deliveries in compliance with HIPAA and
company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
- Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and routes while ensuring timeliness.
- Complete delivery logs, receipts, and related paperwork accurately.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks (fuel, fluids, tire pressure) and promptly report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company driving policies. 

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous courier, delivery, or driving experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and walking.
- Knowledge of the Tri-State area preferred
Working Conditions
- Primarily driving and making deliveries throughout the Tri-State area.
-Frequent interaction with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
- May require occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on business needs.

Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must maintain compliance with company safety and confidentiality standards
