Matthew 25 AIDS Services is a non-profit healthcare clinic that specializes in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Overview:

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or staff pharmacist, the Pharmacy Patient Care Technician serves as the primary point of contact for Matthew 25 Pharmacy for the assigned Matthew 25 Clinic Team. The Pharmacy Patient Care Technician provides outstanding customer services and professional communication skills for both external and internal relations regarding patient access to medication services including, but not limited to: benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, copay assistance, refills, and all other aspects of the patient prescription access.

• QUALIFICATIONS
  Knowledge of Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) and ability to navigate alternative sources of funding.
  High level of dedication to patient care and improving patient medication access
  Clear understanding of and the ability to comply with the Kentucky and Indiana Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations
  Comfortable with addressing insurance rejections and prescription claims processing.
  Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or ExCEPT)
  Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Indiana Board of Pharmacy
  2-4 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting with experience with pharmacy insurance navigation and various medication assistance programs.
  Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test.
