Job Description - Pharmacy Quality Assurance Analyst
When purchasing prescription medicines have you ever received additional funding from your insurance or a partner of theirs? This Quality Assurance Associate plays a vital role in ensuring those transactions occur accurately and efficiently.
IQVIA is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to process and review copay agreements and active charges to make sure that the transaction is in compliance with the agreed upon plan. This role is vital in enabling treatments to be offered affordably to patients who qualify for per their insurance provider’s agreements. It will do this by gaining understanding of terms and then cross-referencing those terms to transactions occurring at the pharmacy.

Essential Functions
Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
Defines master test plans to document overall testing strategy
Performs QA tests on software to ensure proper operations
Documents all problems.
Performs work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
Establishes automated software test and conducts complex software tests.
Participates in review and evaluation of software quality assurance products and services for applicability to in-house needs.
Cooperate closely with the relevant business and other stakeholders, support maintaining focus on quality in project delivery.
Upon agreement with the Line Manager: Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the role
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience
Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
Three (3) years related experience in quality assurance and testing
Working knowledge of testing automation tools
Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and drive them to completion while still maintain a high attention to detail
Experience within the prescription industry, retail pharmacy operations, and/or pharmacy claims is preferred
Knowledge of National Counsel for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP D.0 Telecomm) is useful

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $87,000.00 - $145,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
