Within Franciscan, our Pharmacy Resolution Staff Pharmacists will go beyond accurately filling prescriptions. Our pharmacists are part of a team focused on delivering meaningful pharmacy services to primary and specialty-care providers and their offices, and providing exceptional patient care to their patients. We need pharmacists who can stay on task, provide advice, and who use their knowledge of the patient and disease states to identify and resolve medication-related issues.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Work within various Franciscan specialty clinics to support patients with transferring their prescriptions to Franciscan outpatient pharmacies. This role also includes conducting patient follow-up activities and providing prescription transfer assistance, with opportunities for remote work.
Recognize when refill orders are inappropriate and takes responsibility to assure that the order is modified promptly and correctly, documenting interventions.
Assist in the management of the Pharmacy Resolution Center Specialist team, acting as a resource when guidance is requested in handling patient care situations
Review prescriptions and medication refill orders, checking for appropriateness, and providing the information needed to order the medication refill properly and safely.
Collect pertinent patient data from the electronic medical record as outlined by department Policies and Procedures for the purposes of medication refill management and prior authorization completion.
Assist in scheduling patient clinic visits, as appropriate, as outlined by department Policies and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy
Preferred Doctorate Pharmacy
3 years Retail Pharmacy Preferred
3 years Mail Order or Specialty pharmacy Preferred
3 years Pharmacy Benefit Company Preferred
3 years Long Term Care Pharmacy Preferred
3 years Inpatient Hospital or Clinical or Ambulatory Pharmacy Preferred
Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board
