Pharmacy Technician / Billing Assistant

- Part-time Position with Potential for Full-time Position

- 1-2 years of cashier or technician pharmacy experience

Responsibilities:

- Follow pharmacy standard of operations by complying with state and federal procedures, rules, and regulations

- Works with Third Party Payors (ex. prescription insurance, workers compensation, etc.) to resolve claim rejections

- Communicate with clients and healthcare providers regarding status of medication order

- Collect payment methods from clients for medication orders

- Preparation of shipping of medication order to the pharmacy clients

- Be able to work in a team environment by supporting day to day operations of the business as it pertains to the business needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Pharmacy Technician certification (recommended but not required)

- Must have 1-2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Cashier or Technician

- Must have high school diploma or high school equivalency
