Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting and supporting licensed pharmacists in providing health care and
  medications to patients.
• This responsibility includes activities inclusive of, but not limited to acting as a liaison between the public and the pharmacist, preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory and maintaining patient records.
• Orders, receives and stocks the pharmacy medications in a timely and accurate manner. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards.
• Performs all tasks under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensure:
• Ohio Pharmacy Technician Registration
• PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) Certification
• Technical Skills:
• Medication dispensing systems
• Inventory management
• Pharmacy software proficiency
• Soft Skills:
• Detail-oriented workflow management
• Patient confidentiality adherence
