Pharmacy Technician

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Pharmacy Technician to work in the Medical Department at the Lancaster County Prison in Lancaster, PA. the ideal candidate should be upbeat and maintain a pleasant working attitude when dealing with staff and patients.

Available Shift: FT Day

• Maintain accountability and detailed inventory for pharmacy medications and supplies
• Strict confidentiality of pharmacy information at all times
• Maintain neat and well-organized pharmacy medications and supplies
• Type various reports, letters and memoranda
• Maintain pleasant working attitude
• Answer telephone and processes calls
• Report any issues with missing pharmacy medications and supplies
• Assist with quarterly Pharmacy inspections
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Submit copy of professional license and other credentialing information to the corporate office.
• Any/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegated

• High school graduate or GED
• Graduate of a Certified Pharmacy Technologist Program, preferred
• One (1) year experience as a pharmacy technologist, preferred
• Working knowledge of all pharmaceutical equipment
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to type with accuracy
• Effective communication and telephone manner skills
• Effective computer skills
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of office practices and procedures, English, spelling and math.
