Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

Join our team for an exciting opportunity as a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician! We're urgently seeking a skilled individual for a 13+ week contract position with potential for extension. If you're detail-oriented, personable, and have previous data entry experience, we want to hear from you!

Environment: Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy
- Fast-paced, dynamic workplace

Shifts: Monday - Friday
- Day Shifts: 9:00AM - 5:30PM or 10:00AM - 6:30PM

Job Duties:
- Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system to minimize errors during dispensing.
- Triage incoming fax prescriptions, ensuring prompt processing and dispensing.
- Assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, profiling orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions.
- Engage in phone conversations with customers and patients, providing assistance and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Complete weekly and daily tasks assigned by the staff pharmacist to support pharmacy operations.

Requirements:
- Active pharmacy technician license in Indiana
- Previous data entry experience
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience is a plus
- Experience with QS/1 or DocuTrack systems is preferred
