Job Description - Pharmacy Technician Lead

Location: Hines, Illinois
Position Type: Full-time, First Shift (6:30 AM through 3:00 PM)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Certified Technicians shall hold a current valid certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians .
- Non-certified technicians must have 6 months of experience (unless otherwise authorized by the respective CMOP) in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting; or be a graduate of an Academic Technician Training Educational Program.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day administration of assigned operational area (production floor) and coordinate activities with other production areas.
- Orient new contract pharmacy technicians, provide training, and assist with evaluating performance.
- Ensure correct labeling procedures are followed.
- Assist with administrative/records management to maintain required records on staff background investigations, training, and reporting.
- Demonstrate experience leading a group or project that indicates the ability to manage and supervise others.
