ALFA Specialty Pharmacy, a regional provider of pharmaceutical services in  Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia corridor was founded in 2007.  ALFA is dedicated to providing comprehensive pharmacy services to the long-term care community, medication therapy management (MTM), clinical research and compounding services to our clients and the academic community.  Most errors occur as a result of ineffective communication and lack of sufficient safeguards in place. We recognize the importance of effective communication and will always proactively communicate.

Our mission at ALFA is to provide safe and cost effective service to all our clients and earn their respect through our day to day actions and hard work. We accomplish this by incorporating state of the art technology, automation, information and secure communication systems, and staying fully compliant with regulations and not taking any short cuts. In addition, we incorporate well thought out workflow safeguards in order to prevent errors and hold ourselves accountable. All this is especially important for our intellectual disabilities and other vulnerable individuals in our residential population.
