Job Summary 


AmeriPharma is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician Processor to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately processing prescriptions, communicating with patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.




Schedule Details



  • On-Site, Orange, CA. 

  • 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pm



Duties and Responsibilities



  • Enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy's computer system.

  • Accurately type new and/or refill prescriptions.

  • Communicate with patients regarding prescriptions.

  • Communicate with other pharmacies to obtain and follow up on transfer requests.

  • Communicate with prescriber offices to obtain and follow up on new prescription requests.

  • Assist in answering new patient questions via phone and text.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Ability to type at least 40 WPM



Education/Experience Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Active CA Pharmacy Technician License

  • 6 months to 1+ year of pharmacy technician experience
