Pharmacy Technician Workflow Lead

·        Analyze the various processes to determine workload demand

·        Allocate work to specific team members

·        Perform each of the functions that the team performs to aid in driving timely outcomes

·        Be able to process the more complex patient cases and drive them to resolution

·        Operate the phone system-handling inbound and outbound calls

·        Understand and interact with insurances, patients plan benefits

·        Understand and manage Prior Authorizations

·        Have the ability to manipulate data in excel

·        Multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least two years of related experience is required.

Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of AZ

Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead responsibilities

Work Environment: In office work

Physical Demands:

 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Required: Up to 10%; typically minimal
