BGV Gives seeks a Philanthropy Coordinator, $25.25-$29.63/hr, Full-time. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Breckenridge Grand Vacations’ philanthropy program. SUMMARY: The Philanthropy Coordinator serves as the primary administrative support for the Philanthropy Department and is a key point of contact for nonprofit partners. The Philanthropy Coordinator creates a positive experience for over 150 nonprofit organizations who interface with BGV each year through effective grant platform management and email communication. The Philanthropy Coordinator also promotes employee engagement with nonprofits by organizing and sharing volunteer opportunities and managing administrative aspects of over 50 annual event sponsorships. 75% of the role focuses on philanthropy, with about 10 hours per week spent on administrative support for the BGV Gives Department.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, two years related experience or combination of education and experience. Relevant administrative, philanthropic, and/or event experience preferred.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a minimum of two years’ experience with these programs. Ability to operate office equipment such as copier, fax, scanner, phone and calculator. Ability to type by touch, operate a personal computer and accurately record time worked, in the correct department, using the Company time keeping system. Ability to perform research on the internet.
CERTIFICATIONS and/or LICENSES: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
REQUIREMENTS: Reliable mode of transportation required. Some evening and weekend work responsibilities are required at various times throughout the year.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to speak, read, write and interpret in English. Ability to read and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, governmental regulations, instructions, job descriptions, professional journals, reports, rules, schedules and technical and work procedures. Ability to write business correspondence, instructions, presentations, procedures, reports and schedules. Ability to speak effectively and present information in one-on-one and large group situations to employees of the organization, management and outside vendors. Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, percent, discounts, interest, commission and percentages. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
