Phlebotomist

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect high -quality specimens from adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients for diagnostic testing in accordance with standards.
  

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with EKG testing for outpatients as needed.
  

• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and handling of all samples.
  

• Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and patients.
  

• Respond to service and billing inquiries and assist with compliance documentation.
  

• Maintain accurate and complete records to meet compliance requirements.
  

• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
  

• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  

• 1–2 years of phlebotomy or laboratory experience preferred.
  

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict clinical protocols.
  

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and commitment to patient -centered care.
  

• MediClear Certification (or equivalent) required.
