The Staff Pad is
partnering with Blue Ridge Medical Center located in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a
compassionate, detail -oriented Phlebotomist who is passionate about
delivering exceptional patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to

In this role, you’ll
play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient experiences while ensuring
accurate specimen collection and laboratory support in a fast -paced healthcare
environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform venipuncture and specimen
  collection for patients of all ages with professionalism, accuracy, and
  care in a safe accurate and efficient manner
  
• Accurately document specimen
  collections details, patient information, assess medical necessity and order
  tests using the laboratory information system
  
• Ensure specimens are properly
  labeled, handled, and meet laboratory acceptance standards and transport
  specimens to testing areas
  
• Educate patients by providing clear
  and helpful specimen collection instructions
  
• Collaborate with physicians,
  nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
  exceptional patient care
  
• Adapt confidently to changing
  workflows and multiple work locations as needed
  
• Uphold all safety, infection
  control, and compliance standards
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
  preferred
  
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a
  clinical or hospital setting preferred
  
• Strong interpersonal and
  communication skills with a patient -centered approach
  
• Completion of an accredited
  phlebotomy training program preferred
  
• Additional coursework in anatomy,
  medical technology, or patient care is beneficial
  
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology,
  and laboratory collection procedures preferred
  
• Ability to work independently while
  managing multiple priorities in a fast -paced environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and
  commitment to quality care
  
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician
  (CPT) certification preferred
