The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading healthcasre organization in in Blue Ridge, GA and we are seeking a dependable and skilled PRN Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and support laboratory operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages with accuracy, professionalism, and compassion
Accurately document specimen collection details, patient information, assess medical necessity and order tests using the laboratory information system
Ensure specimens are properly labelled, handled, and meet laboratory acceptance standards and transport specimens to testing areas
Provide clear and supportive instructions to patients regarding specimen collection procedures
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care
Maintain flexibility in adapting to changing workflows and varying work locations
Uphold all safety, infection control, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred
Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
Additional coursework in medical technology, anatomy, or patient care is a plus
Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

Additional Skills and Attributes

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and laboratory collection procedures preferred
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
