Phlebotomist - Hiring Fast

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay: $21 / hr

Description:

- Will primarily be in the lab area drawing patients who need bloodwork done.

- Will be extremely fast paced and primarily working independently.

- This is a family medicine clinic that typically sees about 90 patients per day. Typically at least half or more of these patients have to go to the lab to get blood drawn (so at least 45+ sticks per day, depending on the day).

- Will be working with a wide variety of patient demographics.

-Extracting blood from patients through venipuncture or fingersticks.

-Analyzing blood specimens using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Will take a Medical Assistant OR a Phlebotomist

- Must have a diploma/education focused in phlebotomy or medical assisting. Must also have at least a high school diploma or GED.

- Must have at least 6 months - 1 year of experience drawing blood in a fast paced environment (roughly 45+ sticks per day at least)
