Job Description - Phlebotomist Medical Assistant

We are seeking a full or part-time Back Office Medical Assistant to join our team! The Back Office Medical Assistant will draw blood for tests, take vital signs, and process in-office labs.

Responsibilities:

Collect and process blood samples from patients

Perform vital signs and room patients

Monitor storage and inventory of supplies

Maintain a clean and healthy work environment

Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures

Process urine specimen

Qualifications:

Previous experience in phlebotomy and/or back office medical assistant

Ability to build rapport with patients

Familiarity with electronic medical records

Strong organizational skills

Compensation: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

Dr. Nguyen received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Training at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Nguyen is American Board Certified in Family Practice. She has been practicing medicine since 2002.
