Mid-America College of Health Sciences is seeking a contract Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team. Our instructor of choice will have excellent people skills, be able to provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to, not only obtain good job placement, and also to able to perform quality phlebotomy role in a diverse health care environment. This is a contracted position with hours Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm for the following 2025 program dates:
- July 30 – Aug. 7, 2025
- Sep. 8 – Oct. 16, 2025
- Nov. 10 – Dec. 18, 2025
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Effectively present in-class lectures and demonstrate good hands-on lab skills that are consistent with course syllabus, policies and procedures related to the program.
- Provide students with timely feedback on academic progress and be able to address any concern registered by students where applicable.
- Adhere to applicable regulatory standards and policies and procedures of the institute.
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 verified Phlebotomy experience.
- 1-2 years of teaching experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum degree qualifications (Associates degree).
- Active CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association (AHA).
