Position Summary: Provo Main Lab is looking for a Phlebotomy Lead to work among an amazing team of phlebotomy employees in our Provo clinic location. A lead who can balance hard work with fun, while maintaining regulatory compliance. Preserving our organization's reputation of promoting friendly, competent, and efficient patient focused services. The lead will oversee aspects of specimen collection, processing, point of care testing, and maintain clinic and reference lab relationships. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient wait times, fainting events, and issues with collection and processing. THIS JOB POSTING IS FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY.

Essential Job Functions: Essential Job Functions: Maintains patient confidentiality. Collect, identify, label and process samples maintaining integrity in handling. The lead will work with the supervisor to ensure each new employee is properly and adequately trained on job with responsibilities and work expectations. The lead will monitor work performance of staff to ensure competent and efficient productivity. The lead will help the supervisor to provide coaching or retraining with staff when needed. The lead will help the supervisor maintain supplies and inventory management. This position also requires monitoring workflow and suggest process improvement.

Qualifications: Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. -BLS CPR Certification to be obtained within 6-months after hire. Experience with processing and collection of complex reference lab orders. Graduation from an accredited medical vocational institution with phlebotomy course diploma preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
