LOCATION: Requires travel in both Nassau and Suffolk counties
HOURS:

7:00am - 4:00pm; Monday - Friday with alternating Saturdays
FULL TIME: benefits eligible
In this role, you will:
Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service

Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages

Collect/prepare non-blood specimens

Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering

Work closely with Phlebotomy management to oversee the daily activities of the territory

Assist with training new hires

Provide backup coverage to the Phlebotomy Supervisor

Assist with monthly reports

Address errors, redraws and QA with Phlebotomists and conduct retraining as necessary

All you need is:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous phlebotomy experience, minimum 1 year

Previous team lead experience, a plus

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to analyze, solve problems and make evaluative judgments

Strong computer and data entry skills, including knowledge of Excel
