Phone Triage Nurse, RN - Pediatrics

Children’s Medical Group has been providing the highest quality Pediatric care for over 75 years. We are comprised of 3 offices in Atlanta, Johns Creek and Decatur.

We are currently seeking a full-time Phone Nurse for our pediatric practice in Downtown Decatur at 125 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA 30032. This position is fully on-site/in-person in our office. 

Duties Include:

Triage nursing phone calls.

Scheduling necessary patient appointments.

Input patient demographics and test result information into record systems.

Performs additional duties as required.

Hours of operation: Monday- Friday, 7:30AM- 4:30PM with 1-hour lunch

Rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM- 12:30PM

Qualifications Include:

Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.

Experience in an outpatient primary care environment preferred.

Pediatric experience preferred.

Familiarity with computers and other office equipment.

Basic typing and keyboard skills.

Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation.
