Vitale's is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented phone order specialist to handle customer orders over the phone. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience, from placing an order to pickup or delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
• Take accurate customer orders for pickup and delivery
• Assist customers with menu questions, recommendations, and special requests
• Input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure special instructions are followed
• Help manage high-volume calls during peak hours
• Maintain a positive, courteous demeanor at all times

Requirements:

• String communication and listening skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
• Attention to detail for accurate order-taking
• Basic computer skills and comfort with POS systems (training provided)
• Prior customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
