Photo Editor/Photo Producer - Innovative Company

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Photo Editor/Photo Producer with our client in the entertainment industry located in New York, NY.

• 9-Month assignment (with the possibility of extension)
• Pay: $35.00 - $38.00/hr DOE
• Hybrid (3 days Onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor/Photo
Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all
aspects of photo production, from conceptualization to final delivery. They will
collaborate closely with the photo manager, photographers, designers, and other team
members to ensure the highest quality visual content that aligns with our brand identity
and objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

• Photo Editing: Edit and retouch photos to meet quality standards, including
  color correction, cropping, and image enhancement.
• Photo Production: Manage the end-to-end process of photo shoots, including
  scheduling, hiring photographers, coordinating locations, and arranging
  equipment and props.
• Creative Direction: Work closely with photographers and creative team
  members to develop concepts and execute visual ideas that align with project
  goals.
• Quality Control: Ensure all visual content meets brand guidelines and quality
  standards before final delivery.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with photo manager and other team members to
  integrate visual content seamlessly into projects.
• Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in photography
  and visual storytelling. Identify the ideal photographers based on location and
  project.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks,
  and meet deadlines consistently.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and external
  vendors to convey project requirements and expectations.
   

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a photo editor/photo producer or similar role.
• Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or
  Capture One.
• Strong understanding of photography techniques, lighting, and composition.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Portfolio showcasing previous work in photo editing and production.
