• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Pediatrics and Adolescents

• Patient Volume/Census: 5 pts per day

• Rounding: Included

• Case Mix: Pediatric rehabilitation patients requiring ongoing inpatient rehabilitation management

FACILITY INFORMATION

• EMR System: Epic

• Office Equipment Available: Standard hospital equipment and specialized rehabilitation tools including ceiling -mounted walking track

• Specialty Backup Available: Multidisciplinary rehabilitation team

• Support Staff Available: 1–2 RNs, 1 rehab technician, 3 therapists; supervision of 2 Physician Assistants

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60–90 days with clean file

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Pediatric rehabilitation patient evaluation and management

• Supervision of Physician Assistants

• Participation in multidisciplinary rehabilitation team conferences

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active South Carolina license required

• Board: Board Certification required

• Certifications: BLS and PALS required

• Experience: Minimum 2 years post -training clinical experience

• Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; experience with Epic EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient pediatric rehabilitation care and oversight

• Supervise Physician Assistants managing notes, orders, and communication with families

• Conduct face -to -face patient evaluations per rehabilitation requirements

• Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team conferences

• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to develop and monitor treatment goals and discharge planning

• Document patient encounters and care plans in Epic EMR
