SUMMARY:


Addition Financial Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Security Technology & Operations Specialist to serve as the primary administrator and technical coordinator for the organization's physical security technology infrastructure across 39 locations.
This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, lifecycle management, and strategic advancement of access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarm, and related security systems. The role requires a security professional with strong technical aptitude, knowledge of low-voltage and electronic security systems, and the ability to diagnose system issues, coordinate repairs, manage upgrades, and support future security technology initiatives.


The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between Addition Financial and third-party security vendors while ensuring security systems remain operational, secure, and aligned with organizational requirements.


 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Physical Security Systems Administration


• Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems across 39 locations.


• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of all physical security technology platforms.


• Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, procedures, and asset inventories.


• Support physical security initiatives that protect employees, members, facilities, and assets.


Access Control & Credential Management


• Administer enterprise access control and badge management systems, including credential issuance, modification, deactivation, and auditing.


• Troubleshoot badge readers, door controllers, locking hardware, communications devices, and related system components.


• Perform periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with organizational security requirements.


• Coordinate installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance activities with security vendors and internal stakeholders.


Video Surveillance & Alarm Systems


• Administer CCTV, video management, alarm monitoring, panic alarm, and intrusion detection systems.


• Troubleshoot camera, recorder, storage, connectivity, and alarm communication issues.


• Investigate system outages, alarm events, and equipment failures and coordinate corrective actions.


• Support investigations through video retrieval, access-control reporting, and evidence preservation.


Technical Troubleshooting & Vendor Management


• Diagnose hardware, software, networking, low-voltage, and electrical issues affecting security systems.


• Serve as the primary liaison with security integrators, manufacturers, and service providers.


• Manage service requests, monitor repair progress, validate completed work, and ensure vendor performance standards are met.


• Review technical proposals, scopes of work, and project deliverables for accuracy and effectiveness.


Security Technology Lifecycle & Projects


• Lead and coordinate security system upgrades, hardware replacements, software updates, firmware updates, and platform migrations.


• Support planning, budgeting, and execution of physical security technology projects and enhancements.


• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend solutions that improve security effectiveness and operational efficiency.


• Assist in developing long-term technology roadmaps for access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.


Incident Response & Security Support


• Respond to critical security system failures, incidents, and emergency situations affecting business operations.


• Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities.


• Maintain accurate, professional documentation including incident reports, maintenance records, audit results, and project documentation.


• Collaborate with Facilities, IT, Risk Management, branch leadership, law enforcement, and external partners to support organizational security objectives.


REQUIREMENTS: 


Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred


Certifications:



  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred


Applicable system/program knowledge



  • Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, CCure, Software House, Milestone, Verkada, Brivo, or similar platform experience


Experience: 



  •  Minimum 3-5 years of experience supporting physical security technologies

  • Experience administering access control, CCTV, and alarm systems

  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting electronic security systems.

  • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and electronic hardware.

  • Experience coordinating with security vendors, contractors, and integrators.

  • Strong technical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

  • Experience supporting software upgrades and technology implementations.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  •  Valid driver's license with ability to travel between locations.
