We welcome you to apply for a lucrative and rewarding career as a Physical Therapist for children in the Early Intervention Program. This is Center Based role for a position in our Flushing, Queens office in 11354.
- This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about working with children and adolescents who require physical therapy as part of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Your expertise will directly contribute to helping students achieve greater mobility, confidence, and independence in their home learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ physical abilities and developmental needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide physical therapy services in the student’s home using a range of therapeutic techniques suited to pediatric and school-aged populations.
Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and school district teams to support student progress and continuity of care.
Educate families on home-based exercises, adaptive strategies, and safe mobility practices.
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress in compliance with education and health regulations.
Monitor and adjust therapy plans to ensure effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with children who have disabilities, in the Early Intervention
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Desire to improve the quality of life of children with special needs.
Bilingual a plus
DOH fingerprinting clearance
Starting Rate- $80-120 per session Availibility: Minimum 3 days a week
Compensation: $80.00 - $150.00 per hour
