About the Role:
Evergreen Physical Therapy Specialists in Pasadena, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. We have been in Pasadena 20 years , PT owned, with a strong reputation for providing expert care and attentive treatment plans to help our patients achieve their optimal health and wellness. Clinically, our PTs and PTAs provide direcct one on one treatment for their patients . We have a unique fusion of clinical PT and influence beyond in our membership gym complete with a wide variety of strength and fitness classes. PTs and PTAs have an opportunity to have both clinical roles and gym roles for impact beyond an injury, well into performance. We have an opportunity for 2 full time positions bringing our team total up to 12 clinicians. We have a robust mentoring commitment with monthly team mentoring and individual as needed. We host 12-15 con-ed courses per year including DNS ( dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, BFR , ( blood flow restriction), Graston, Movement Links Certification Series. We provide monthly free community workshops . Employment opportunities exist in orthopedics, vestibular / neurological, pediatrics, women's health, men's health, sports performance .
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' physical condition
- Develop customized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' mobility and function.
- Educate patients on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients with our wellness / fitness options post discharge from PT.
Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California
- Prefer 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, will consider high performing new grads.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Niche experience / expertise considered for program development.
- additional credentials a plus : CSCS, OCS, NCS, GCS, PCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, DNS Certification, Movementlinks Cert, BFR cert.
