Physical Therapist

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist License in the state of North Carolina (required)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (required)
• Proven experience or strong understanding of outpatient physical therapy services
• Familiarity with acute and inpatient rehab settings is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and discharge patients in an outpatient rehab setting
• Deliver compassionate, individualized care aligned with patient goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation demonstrating medical necessity
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Athletic Trainers, and Rehab Techs
• Provide coverage for acute care and inpatient rehab as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards
• Assist with prior authorizations and manage a diverse caseload efficiently
• Contribute to scheduling for holidays and weekends as directed
