Physical Therapist

Description of the role:

University Home Care is seeking several Physical Therapists to cover the Rochester, MI and surrounding cities. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting optimal health outcomes, and assisting patients in improving their physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans


• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function


• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary


• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (home care experience required)
  


• Excellent knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and practices


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
