Physical Therapist

Royalty Staffing is seeking a bilingual physical therapist with experience working with the geriatric population to cover a 6 month leave of absence.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: To provide direct patient care and support activities which build and maintain the outstanding outcomes of the therapy department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Aids in the restoration and enhancement of independent function in those individuals whose living status has been compromised by illness and/or injury. Evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other interdisciplinary team members, documents services in the medical records. Contributes to the professional development of self and others. Enhances interdisciplinary team through professional skills and knowledge. Demonstrates safe working practices.

Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM

Education Required (Minimum level of education): Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy if obtained prior to the year 2000; if obtained after the year 2000, then Master’s Degree in PT; if obtained after the year 2015, then Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Certifications/Licenses Required:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in CA
• Passing scores on national and state examinations.
• CA valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proof of current vehicle insurance (if applicable)
• Bilingual; Spanish
• 1 year experience working with geriatric populations

Pay range: $50.29 - $56.91 - $64.59
