Physical Therapy Assistant, Full Time - Home Health

We’re seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to provide personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of patients’ homes. As part of our collaborative team, you’ll help restore mobility, independence, and quality of life—one patient at a time.

• Schedule: M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM


• Areas of Coverage: Richmond and surrounding areas

A brief overview of Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of a physical therapist and by the physician’s plan of care


• Direct and aid patient in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training


• Utilize physical agents, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage


• Instruct in use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices


• Observe and report to the physical therapist the patient’s reaction to treatment and any changes in condition


• Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements


• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant school
  


• Must be licensed or registered in Virginia.
  


• One year of home health experience PLUS!
  


• Must have current CPR Certification
