About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at PROActive Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant! In this role, you will play a vital part in helping patients recover and improve their physical health, all while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.

Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of licensed therapists.

Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.

Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care strategies.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

Ensure a clean and safe therapy environment for all patients.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.

Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with patient care and rehabilitation preferred.

Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
