Job Description - Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Portage, WI (or split between Portage & Westfield, WI)
Company: New Life Physical Therapy
Job Type: Full-Time Outpatient Orthopedic Private Practice

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is:

What You’ll Do



  • Deliver high-quality, one-on-one patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans using exercise, manual techniques, and therapeutic interventions

  • Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with supervising PTs

  • Educate patients on movement, recovery, and long-term health strategies

  • Contribute to a positive clinic environment that reflects our culture and standards

  • Collaborate with the team to drive strong outcomes and patient experiences


 


Qualifications



  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Wisconsin

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team-oriented with a growth mindset

  • Committed to feedback, development, and high standards of care
