Physical Therapist Assistant | Full-Time

We need Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistants to join our team at Continuum Therapy Partners.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Continuum Therapy Partners, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Physical Therapists in delivering exceptional care to patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of physical therapy programs aimed at improving the functional abilities of individuals across the lifespan. 

You'll Be Responsible For: 

• Collaborating with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Providing direct physical therapy services under the guidance & supervision of licensed therapists. 
• Assisting with assessments to identify clients' strengths, challenges, & goals
• Facilitating therapeutic exercises & activities designed to enhance clients' mobility, strength, & coordination
• Documenting patient progress accurately & in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory & organizational guidelines
• Educating clients & their families on home exercise programs & strategies for improving physical function
• Contributing to team meetings, sharing insights & participating in collaborative care planning
• Staying informed about advancements in physical therapy & participating in professional development activities to enhance skills & knowledge
• Upholding ethical & professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, & team members

You'll Need To Have: 

• An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• A State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate & collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• A compassionate & client-centered approach to therapy
• Excellent organizational & time-management skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, & ethical standards related to physical therapy practice
