Physical Therapist opportunity for experienced, business minded clinician to take the next step in their career, as an important team member
of our outpatient Physical Therapy practice within our Enfield fitness center.
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for playing an integral part in growing our Healthtrax Physical Therapy location.
The demands of the role include but are not limited to helping build the clientele of which you are:
Evaluating and treating a diverse patient base from sports-medicine patients and athletes, as well as post-surgical ortho and work-related injuries. Patient ages range from middle/high school aged youth to adults. Clinic features a variety of equipment for proper treatment protocol and a multitude of outpatient therapy programs. Patients and therapists benefit from access to the Healthtrax fitness facility with cardiovascular and strength training, flexibility and functional fitness equipment. Collaboration between fitness and PT for cross-referrals to best serve patients, clients, members is essential and ongoing.
As a licensed Physical Therapist you
Use industry standard assessment tools and clinical interventions for optimal outpatient treatments for short-term rehabilitation
Teach skills that diminish or correct pathologies to restore and enhance the performance of physical tasks for clients
Provide range-of-motion, strengthening and functional training to patients
Interface with Healthtrax Fitness Certified Personal Trainers to develop safe and effective exercise programs
Integrate discharge plans that promote independence and mainstream patients into their desired fitness and wellness goals
Administer timely paperwork, insurance filing, appointment schedules, phone and email correspondence
Contribute to clinic performance goals
Duties, responsibilities and more are subject to change at discretion of partnership
Qualifications
At a minimum must have a Bachelor’s degree as a Physical Therapist from an accredited college or university
Current license as a Physical Therapist, per the state of practice
Clinical experience
Experience or the willingness to learn the" business side" of the industry to help in overall growth of the location
Skills
Must be capable of working independently in a flexible, fast-paced, lean-staffed, deadline driven environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Establish and maintain office systems
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, maintain professionalism and deliver stellar customer service meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Exhibit professional demeanor and effective written and verbal communication with a common sense approach to problem-solving skills.
Assists peers and coworkers to insure highest level of group performance to achieve its high standards and positive outcomes.
Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative by following through in own area of expertise and accountability as an important member of the team that is expected to produce results, both financial and holistically.
Demonstrate logical thinking and sound judgment when resolving both routine and moderately complex issues and challenges.
Work Schedule
This position requires a Full-time weekly work schedule (32-40 hours) including evenings as necessary to grow the business model and accommodate client appointments.
