Regions can vary based on scheduling needs. • Treat chronic and acute episodic wound-related illnesses • Collaborate with internal and external wound care teams • Work with the medical director in the care and treatment of residents and staff. • Application and management of topical wound care and associated wound management products. • Direction and recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes. • Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current wound management practices. Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience: • Licensed as a Physical Therapist • Degree conferred upon successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy professional education program with a (B.S., MPT, MSPT, DPT) • Proof of Covid vaccination • Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used wound healing procedures • Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure • Cognizant of safety standards in clinical environment • Ability to work independently • Must demonstrate professional interpersonal communication and conduct • Ability to accurately complete documentation in a timely manner, • Must have organizational, time management skills, and the ability to problem-solve • Must be an effective communicator with patients and client staff Physical Requirements: • Able to stand and walk for 4+ hours • Able to lift 100 pounds to assist fallen residents. • Able to lift 10 pounds for routine performance of essential functions. • Pushing/Pulling 70+ pounds when administering patient care • Bending/squatting/kneeling/twisting when administering patient care • Depth perception when performing medical procedures Work Environment: • May be exposed to adverse indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards. • Will travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities within your local area • The position requires Covid vaccination. • Job Type: Full-time • Salary: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road Healing Partners provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, or service in the military.
