Position Purpose
The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
Supervisory Responsibility: None – May direct the work of Physical Therapy Assistants
Budget Responsibility: None

Minimum Requirements
Education: Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program.
Experience: Experience performing the essential functions of the position is desirable.
Certification/License: Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing is required. Candidates are required to attain and maintain CPR certification within 90 days after hire. State background check standards must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
