Physical Therapist I: Full Time: M/W 11a-7p, T, TH, F 7a-3p, Atlantic Rehab New Providence

Atlantic Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their outpatient location in New Providence, NJ that provides physical therapy for a predominantly orthopaedic population. This is a full-time position in which the candidate will enjoy the full array of benefits, as they provide their services during the day, Monday/Wednesday from 11a-7p, and Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 7a-3p.

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing a broad range of physical therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. They will ensure and provide development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.

Principal Accountabilities:


1. Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
2. Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
3. Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
4. Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
5. Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
6. Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
7. Works with other professionals in an effective manner
8. Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
9. Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college/university. 

Preferred:

1-3 years of experience is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply.
