Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation - Travel Position

Pay: $2,475/week

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Brush, CO, on a travel contract. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury and design individualized treatment plans to restore function, mobility, and independence. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in providing physical therapy in inpatient or rehabilitation settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional abilities.


• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.


• Provide interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility activities.


• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapy goals.


• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy objectives, home programs, and safe mobility practices.


• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.


• Support a safe and therapeutic inpatient environment while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.


• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Colorado (or compact license).


• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or rehabilitation physical therapy experience.


• Current certification in Basic Life Support.


• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.


• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
