Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, and soft tissue mobility
• Utilize specialized equipment and modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction
• Document patient progress and maintain detailed clinical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Train patients and families in therapeutic techniques and proper use of assistive devices
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapy license (or license-eligible)
• BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Strong pediatric patient care experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift 30 pounds independently
