Position Summary:
A physical therapist provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of residents/patients suffering from injuries or disease. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, providing coverage based on the facility's staffing needs. PRN employees typically work fewer than 16 hours per week on average.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate Degree from a college or university with an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licenses/Certification:
Current Physical Therapist license in the state employed.
Current CPR certification.
Experience:
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
