Physical Therapist - Travel Position 

Location: Rice Lake, WI 

Job Type: Travel Contract  

Duration: 13 weeks 

Shift: 5x8 Days 

Pay: $2772/week 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The PT will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients restore mobility, improve physical function, and enhance quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. 

Key Responsibilities:

  Assess patients’ physical abilities and needs through examinations and medical history reviews. 

  
  

• 
  

  Develop and implement customized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function. 

  
  

• 
  

  Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to support patient recovery. 

  
  

• 
  

  Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, lifestyle adjustments, and injury prevention. 

  
  

• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. 

  
  

• 
  

  Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies. 

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program 

  
  

• 
  

  Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist 

  
  

• 
  

  BLS/CPR certification, COVID vaccine, TB test 

  
  

• 
  

  Prior experience in physical therapy in a hospital setting
