Job Description - Physical Therapist PT

Join Our Growing Team at Interim Healthcare of Scranton, PA – Now Hiring Physical Therapists (PTs)

Are you passionate about helping patients regain their independence and mobility? Interim Healthcare of Scranton is seeking dedicated Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our dynamic team of Home Healthcare Professionals.

Earn up to $40 per hour as a full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities for the Home Health Physical Therapist PT:

Provide personalized, home-based physical therapy to patients recovering from illness or injury.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, OT, SLP) to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Assess patients’ movements, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Deliver hands-on therapy and exercises to help patients manage pain and improve mobility.

Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, exercises, and self-care strategies.

Empower patients and caregivers to follow the plan of care and enhance recovery at home.

Minimum Qualifications for the Home Health Physical Therapist PT:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program with an active PA PT license.

At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy, ideally in home healthcare.

Liability insurance (for Independent Contractors only; full-time employees excluded).

CPR certification required.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Strong clinical judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
